I am a born accountant. I knew from the time I was in elementary school, that's what I was going to be when I grew up. Numbers just make sense to me, sometimes when nothing else does. I've been a corporate accountant for 24 years in numerous industries and finally I have gotten to the point in my career that I can begin rebalancing my life/work balance. It's time for me to be able to start traveling again for vacations and downtime like before the start of the pandemic. Also, I decided if I am going to work 60+ hours, why not invest it in myself? At least I will appreciate it. So, one evening while browsing online I ended up on the Vistaprint website decided I wanted a flaming fender guitar as my logo and to give a nod to the blues, the business name would be 12 Bar Accounting Services. Now we just have to see how the rest of the story unfolds.

I have a love of music that normally is only seen by those that have talent to produce it themselves, unfortunately I am the only member of my family with no musical ability whatsoever. However, through the Central Kentucky Blues Society and my involvement on the board of directors I am able to stil be part of the music family in the region. We help to keep the blues alive in Central Kentucky. To find out more about the society click below
Since 1999 I have been involved with and participated in the American Heart Associations Heart Walk here in Lexignton. I have beared witness to the honesty in heart disease earning it's name as the silent killer, as too many people have been lost to it without them even knowing there was a problem.
